Winnebago Specialty Vehicles and XOS Announce New Electric Commercial Vehicle

Winnebago Specialty Vehicles and XOS have joined forces announcing a new fully electric commercial vehicle platform that is currently available for order. This partnership is a significant milestone in the journey towards offering 100% electric commercial vehicle solutions.

Xos is a chassis manufacturer, specializing in electric delivery vehicles and electric commercial fleets. The new Xos chassis is a bespoke design for Winnebago’s proven commercial shells allowing the vehicles to be mass produced while standing up to the daily use case of commercial applications.

This new electric platform delivers unparalleled performance, efficiency, and reliability for a multitude of mobile applications. It has a driving range of 200 miles and come standard with a 280kWh battery system. The battery system powers the drive train on the vehicle as well as all the equipment that is added onboard. The vehicles come in a 33- or 38- foot length and are supported by level 2 or level 3 DC fast charging.

These vehicles qualify for many different federal, state and local incentive, as well as grant programs. A dedicated team is established to help secure funding for organizations and stay up to date on the changing landscape of EV incentives.
